hetaliatimeline! The purpose of this community is to learn about world history through the wonderful and talented contributions of the Hetalia fandom! So many fascinating and educational fics, pictures, and comics have been made based on Hetalia, and it's only right that they should be available in one place for everyone to learn from.
The community is organized by century or half-century, and fanworks will be placed according to the year in which their piece begins. Fanworks can be nominated or suggested in the suggestions post. Note that we will not post any fanwork until we have permission from the creator. This is to protect those who would rather their work not be on display in any obvious locations.
By joining/watching/participating in this community, you are expressing your understanding that:
1. History is often subjective, and though creators may their hardest to be unbiased, there's more than one side to every historical event.
2. Hetalia itself is based on stereotypes and somewhat racist material. If you're offended by the history presented here but are unable to express your views in a mature, civilized, and somewhat well-informed manner, please refrain from commenting.
3. Not everyone is an expert in history/political science. That's probably why most of us are here! Please be respectful of those who come here to learn and be supportive of their decision to broaden their worldview.
